Shipping Policy

Order Processing

We know you're excited to get your hands on your 4Forty9 cap. Here's exactly what happens after you place your order.

Processing Time

Orders are processed the same business day or the next business day depending on when the order is placed.

  • Orders placed before 2:00 PM PST, Monday–Friday: Same-day processing. Your order is packed and handed to the carrier that day.
  • Orders placed after 2:00 PM PST or on weekends: Processed the next business day.
  • Orders placed on federal holidays: Processed the following business day.
What "Processed" Means

Your order has been picked, packed, and handed off to the carrier. You will receive a shipping confirmation email with your tracking number. Once your tracking number is issued, it may take up to 24 hours for carrier systems to update with live tracking information.

Shipping Methods & Delivery Times

All delivery time estimates below begin from the date your order is shipped — not the date it is placed. Please factor in same-day or next-day processing time.

Delivery estimates above are provided by the carrier and are not guaranteed. Delays caused by the carrier, weather, or high-volume periods (e.g. holidays) are outside our control.

Order Confirmation & Tracking

  • Confirmation email: Sent immediately after your order is placed. Check your spam folder if you don't see it within 5 minutes.
  • Shipping confirmation: Sent once your order has been processed and handed to the carrier. Includes your tracking number.
  • Tracking updates: Use the tracking number in your email to follow your package. Tracking may take up to 24 hours to show movement after the label is created.
  • Delivery confirmation: Most carriers send a delivery notification. If you didn't receive yours, check with neighbors or building management before contacting us.

Shipping Restrictions

Domestic Shipping Only — United States

At this time, 4Forty9 ships exclusively within the United States, including Alaska, Hawaii, and US territories (Puerto Rico, Guam, US Virgin Islands).

We do not currently ship to international addresses, APO/FPO/DPO military addresses, or P.O. Boxes via expedited services. Standard shipping to P.O. Boxes is available via USPS.

International shipping is coming soon — sign up for our email list to be notified when it's available.

Lost, Stolen, or Damaged Packages

Package marked delivered but not received

If your tracking shows "Delivered" but you haven't received your package:

  • Wait 24 hours — carriers sometimes mark packages as delivered a day early.
  • Check with neighbors, your building manager, or any secure drop locations.
  • Check around all entry points of your home including side and back doors.
  • Contact your local post office or carrier with your tracking number.
  • If still unresolved after 48 hours, email on file with your order number.

Package damaged in transit

If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 7 days of delivery:

  • Email us with the email on file with your order number and photos of the damaged item and packaging.
  • We will send a replacement at no charge or issue a full refund — your choice.
  • Do not discard the damaged packaging — it may be needed for a carrier claim.

Package lost in transit

If your tracking has not updated in 7 or more business days and the package has not arrived:

  • Contact us through the contact us form with your order number and tracking number.
  • We will file a claim with the carrier on your behalf.
  • If the claim is confirmed, we will send a replacement or issue a full refund.

Incorrect Shipping Address

Please double-check your shipping address before completing checkout. 4Forty9 is not responsible for packages delivered to an incorrect address provided by the customer.

  • If you notice an error immediately after placing your order, contact us at through the contact us portal as soon as possible. We will do our best to update the address before the order ships.
  • Once an order has been processed and a tracking number issued, we cannot guarantee address changes.
  • If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address, we will contact you to arrange re-shipment. Re-shipment may incur an additional shipping fee.

Holiday & High-Volume Periods

During high-volume periods such as holidays, major drop launches, or promotional events, processing times may extend to 2–3 business days. We will always communicate any delays via email and on our Instagram @4forty9.

To avoid delays, we recommend placing orders at least 10–14 business days before a major holiday if you need your order by a specific date.
